Working off my previous fractal algorithms, I have created this piece I call, Golden Medallion. Little off center, not quite perfect, like a medallion or coin would be when found with sunken treasure.
I have decided to post a few of my older pieces of Art and this is one of them.
Completed a lot more of the Sofa, so about halfway done and just started working some color in and around the Tabby's face.
Looking at this one large on my screen,, I like it. But small size... not so much.
I have decided to play with some of my photographs, changing values, colors. Will put them up on my Online Galleries,so you can see larger photos there.
I have been working very hard to master a Grand Julian... using the same base as my previous fractals of this type of design, using my own Math Algorithms. Am sort'a getting there but not where I want to be quite yet. So everyone gets to see my trials. VBG
Still working on the Sofa, not only adding the first color in places, but going back over other area's already started to add some definition. Also worked in the Tabby's nose and inner ears just a little bit.
Render of, 5 days, 2 hours and 56 minutes is what it took to get this level of detail.
Adding to that.. the power outage and the computer that black screened, making me start the render over mid way, twice. Thank goodness I save my parameters.
A close up of this creation.

Still working on the sofa. The amount of color on the thing is staggering. Normally I get the first layer of color on, then go back and do more detail. However, I wanted to work on the front of the sofa a little more, where the piping is tucked in, to add more definition.
My computer took two full days non stop to render this creation of mine. It is based on the last fractal I did, with some added numbers and adjustments. In the close up shot you can see the extensive detail. At a distance I think it looks something like an Abstract Sea Star but close up, looks like woven fabric.
