Decided to remove any ads, as I was finding them rather annoying to deal with.
One thing I personally hate is wading through, ad after ad to try to read a post or see the photographs.
Figured many would feel the same way.
About the Artist
~~ I currently work primarily in watercolor on hot press paper, and I've spent years exploring the space between trompe l'oeil and surreal abstract images that pull the eye toward the real and the dreamlike at once.
Along the way my materials have shifted: pen and ink with watercolor pencils on hot press, water-based oils on canvas, and more recently pure watercolor on hot press paper.
Around 2009 to 2015 I also spent time on fractal art, working in Bryce, which fed my interest in structure, pattern, and the strange places an image can go and dabbled in Painters 12.
I've been fascinated since childhood by how far an image can be pushed before it stops making sense, and I chase that edge on purpose. Depending on my mood, a piece might settle into something calm or tip into a sense of wonder. I like leaving the viewer somewhere between peace and with some works of art, a question.
For me, art should be fun and experimental, and I follow where the work wants to go. My site includes both much older pieces and recent ones, so you can see how my style has shifted and matured over the years.
