At the time of painting, I owned Ella the donkey ( I had to rehome her to a good friend before the move to this State), took the photo of her, still have the original  painting and its Copy Righted!!!

Weaver's Cottage~

In the small Village under some large trees, 

sits the Weaver's cottage.

She weaves beautiful clothes to keep you warm, on a winters day.

The reference was with my photograph taken with my Canon 70D,  and the Fine Art Painting was done in a watercolor style.

OK...  so finishing it today,

 at least with the level of detail I am putting into this painting.. 

..was ... well.. little to much to hope for.

Finally got her eyes the way I want them, adding lots of layers of color in her fur. Still lots more to do.

Decided I wanted to work on some Art.  Rose makes it a bit ....ah.. Challenging. 

Even though I haven't finished the two other paintings I am working on...

(they are big enough I need to use my Art desk)

Decided to do a pen and ink of Rose, chewing on one of her toys.

Will add some color later.
