Cafe Press is now selling Jewelry and very nice key chains, this is just a small sample of what they offer. In the next couple of weeks, I will add more of these items into my Cafe Press shop. Please check back often.
And as always, if you don't see something that you would like, please let me know and I will get it up into the shop quickly.
This is my fixed Main Coon cat Nari, not happy about the snow we have been getting. She was from a local non kill shelter and brought her home a number of years ago as a young kitten.
This is my young silver bay Icelandic filly, Edda, on my farm in NW Oregon. Took the photo during a break in the snow and hail storms, to show how beautiful Oregon is. Photo taken with my Evolt 510 camera.
This is my silver bay Icelandic filly Edda, who is trying to make sure there is still grass under the snow. I love how her fluffy her mane and forelock are and how they contrast with her coat.
This photograph will be offered at all my online stores.
This piece is painted using Ink and Watercolor Pencil on Hot pressed watercolor paper.
Working on adding more layers of color in various areas, working on the drop tank and wing more.
About 3/4 of the way to being finished.
I still need to either go to the air museum or find someone with a reference photo I can use, so I can verify that the wing on the far side, can not be seen from this angle.
An Beautiful Icelandic Horse filly. Photo taken with an Evolt 510 camera and with the use of photoshop, created this piece to be something just a little different.
Added another layer of color to the Phantom, erasing the pencil lines as I go. Started adding the first layer of color to the wing, deepening the shadows a bit and just started working on the tank under the Fighter.
I have been using a new type of grey pencil watercolor and I am finding out it doesn't accept Ink well. So I will have to remember in the future if I use this color, to do the Ink work first.
Decided to remove any ads, as I was finding them rather annoying to deal with.
One thing I personally hate is wading through, ad after ad to try to read a post or see the photographs.
Figured many would feel the same way.
About the Artist
~~Shari's work explores the relationship between Trompe l'oeil and surreal Abstracts. With influences as diverse as Leonardo da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller, new variations are generated from both explicit and implicit dialogues. Ever since she was a child, she has been fascinated by the theoretical limits of all Art. What starts out as vision soon becomes contemporaneously into a hegemony of wild abandonment, leaving only a sense of peace or chaos with the stroke of a pen and with the likelihood of a new reality. As wavering derivatives become clarified or distorted through diligent and critical practice, depending on my mood, the viewer is left with a new agenda of dream like thoughts or questions of our condition. Art should always be fun and experimental.
