That’s so cool. My fathers send me a presentation with pictures of cats that are painted with ink. It was written that this very expensive work. I think it was 15000 dollars or something like that, but the results are beautiful. I can send to you if you want, I can take ideas from there. How you do it? Are you using regular ink or something special? What are you doing from stopping you cat from moving all the time? Is it poisonous? Is the ink washed or sticks for life? I would love to have answers to these. Thank you.
I can only dream of getting that kind of price. Needless to say I only make enough to pay for my web site and online stores, nothing else. Would be nice to be able to put food on the table and pay bills too. Maybe some day. I use India Ink and no it is not toxic at all.It is a Perm ink. Take snap shots of my cats ...Only way to keep them still enough! VBG But it is nice to be able to pick them up to use as references.
Decided to remove any ads, as I was finding them rather annoying to deal with.
One thing I personally hate is wading through, ad after ad to try to read a post or see the photographs.
Figured many would feel the same way.
About the Artist
~~Shari's work explores the relationship between Trompe l'oeil and surreal Abstracts. With influences as diverse as Leonardo da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller, new variations are generated from both explicit and implicit dialogues. Ever since she was a child, she has been fascinated by the theoretical limits of all Art. What starts out as vision soon becomes contemporaneously into a hegemony of wild abandonment, leaving only a sense of peace or chaos with the stroke of a pen and with the likelihood of a new reality. As wavering derivatives become clarified or distorted through diligent and critical practice, depending on my mood, the viewer is left with a new agenda of dream like thoughts or questions of our condition. Art should always be fun and experimental.
