Hand Spinning yarn

 Starting to hand spin yarn more, than create new Art.
Will start selling yarn in the future.

I have been handing spinning yarn for 27 years to date. 

Here I am handspinning some blue Merino roving into yarn for my Mom.

Spinning up a single

Two bobbins of singles so I can make a 2 ply yarn

Once they are made into 2 ply, use my skein winder to get them off the bobbins. 

I wash then set the yarn with a little weight.

Once dry, I put the skein on the back of the chair and start hand rolling a ball. 

The Ball of 2 ply yarn is ready to send to my Mom.
It is just shy of 1lb
