The original Charcoal was done in 2007. In 2010 there abouts I started on a watercolor version but never finished.
The original photo is one my son took at an open Miniature horse show in the PNW.
The mountains and trees references was from the many photos I took when I lived both in NW WA and NW OR.
I still have that hat.
